Thanks to the generous support of Friends Forever partners in the United States, Ireland and Israel, we are able to change the lives of entire communities. In addition to their generous donations, many of our partners provide what they do best. Thanks to some special organizations these teens have access to technology resources, enhanced programming during their 2-week Life Raft program, transportation and a multitude of other services. We would like to recognize our 2008 / 2009 contributing partners and corporations for their commitment to helping to promote peace.
How we work.
Friends Forever is part of a broad and crucial movement of organizations who have spent decades working to end violence in regions of extreme conflict and promote peace through coexistence. Our members from around the globe come together to form a powerful grassroots network of people who care passionately and believe that the path to peace is through helping the youth leaders understand their perceived enemies are more similar than they are different.
Our members affect change by donating their time, talent and treasure to this important cause. To enroll a teen in this year long program, it costs approximately $2,500. Friends Forever's members and partners make it possible to enroll between 40 - 60 students each year in this program that is making a concrete difference. Coming from every walk of life and every industry, our members and partners work to achieve change through grassroots programming in their local communities and by sharing their experiences with these teens.
